Founded by Davina Nathan, who holds an HBA in Art History from the University of Toronto, and Associate in Applied Science Degree in Textile Design, from The Fashion Institute of Technology, New York City. Davina has been the Creative Director of DND for the past 14 years, a Toronto based textile & product design studio. Davina's designs are sold to leading International brands and can be seen on various surface applications from high end carpets & wallpaper in commercial spaces, to fashion accessories and novelty household items under her brand.
Davina is a dedicated supporter of the arts in all it's forms and has a very hands on approach. With a strong appreciation for color, texture, and an unwavering curiosity for how things piece together; Davina is continuously driven to explore new techniques, mediums and creative projects within the community. It is with great pleasure to collaborate with other creatives and and encourage Toronto's youth to nurture and respect their own artistic achievements and differences.

Nikki is a Registered Psychotherapist with over 10 years experience providing Art and Play Therapy to diverse children and youth aged 3-19. Nikki began her training at Fanshawe College where she completed a diploma in photography. Later she earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of Western Ontario; and then a post-graduate diploma in Art therapy from the Toronto Art Therapy Institute. Over the years Nikki has taken additional training in psychology, counselling techniques and play therapy at the George Brown College School of Early Childhood Education and the Sick Kids Centre for Community Mental Health (formally Hincks-Delcrest). Nikki has spent the last several years facilitating community based art programs at various schools, community centres, libraries and private homes across the GTA. In addition, she facilitates play therapy groups at Thorncliffe Neighbourhood Offices. Nikki has taken several courses in baking and cake decorating through the Wilton certification program. She has been featured in several magazines and conducted numerous talks on the importance of creativity in enhancing holistic well-being.
Participating member Jason van Horne, Artist
Jason is Toronto based visual artist whose work touches on themes of city planning, architectural heritage and urban decay. He works in a range of disciplines including sculpture installation, painting and community based public art.
As co-founder of the guerrilla painting group, City Beautification Ensemble (2002-present) Jason has worked in conjunction with numerous local community members and organizations in his efforts to bring a little colour to the concrete and asphalt streets and sidewalks of Toronto. Utilizing the mood enhancing benefits of colour theory he has run hands-on Beautification workshops with youth groups and led late-night public painting excursions for various arts festivals and events. Jason is also a professional painter for residential and commercial properties and dabbles in set painting, prop building and design for independent film/theatre.
